Few organizations are in the position
to tie together practical expertise in the environmental
field with university resources. TIAER offers field
monitoring and lab
analysis, either independently or as an integrated
service. Within driving distance of Stephenville, Texas,
we maintain mobilization readiness, 24 hours a day,
seven days a week, in response to rainfall events, biological
phenomena such as fish kills and algae blooms, or other
environmental emergencies. Outside of Stephenville,
we can design appropriate monitoring, install the equipment,
and train personnel to run it effectively.
Our extensive background in monitoring
watersheds in Texas and Iowa has allowed our staff to
develop a comprehensive assessment program:
- Routine water, soil, and
sediment grab sampling and monitoring
- Operation of automated storm
samplers
- Rapid bioassessment monitoring
protocols for benthos and fish
Global positioning and geodetic data collection
- Maintainance, calibration,
and operation of field equipment
- Rapid response to storm
situations
- Water velocity measurements
for developing stage-discharge relationships
TIAER provides scientific services
to governments, industries, municipalities, and other
entities on a contractual basis. We commit our people,
experience, and equipment to assure that your samples
and projects are treated with the care, attention, and
timeliness you demand.
