Data Modeling

Almost all our work rests on economic modeling, water quality modeling, or both. The Comprehensive Economic and Environmental Optimization Tool (CEEOT), a framework for modeling data, allows us to compare the environmental impact and economic cost of a scenario change in a watershed.

We have developed the Farm Economic Model (FEM) in-house, allowing us to understand the economic impact on producers who make changes to their management practices.

Our staff can modify and use any appropriate model, including SWAT, BASINS, APEX, CE-Qual W2, and HSPF. We are currently comparing the output of the most commonly used models against field data and against each other. We use ESRI software to analyze and view biophysical data to generate maps for all our clients.
